Caverns of Bane adds 3 new Thunderstone Bearers, 7 new heroes, 6 new monster groups, and 14 new village cards.  The six new monster groups include vicious burrowing worms, horrifying bat monsters, and regenerating subterranean trolls.  The expansion also introduces treasures, which power up the monsters that possess them, but can add some power to you if you slay monsters that carry treasure.
