D&D5E 101 at The Wandering Dragon on Thursday, January 8th at 7:00pm

Are you new to RPG’s? Did you just pick up the Starter Set or print the basic rules from the internet? Maybe you haven’t played since you played AD&D when you were a kid? Do you think it’s too complicated or may be too hard to learn? Would you like to find a group to game with but don’t know where or how to start? Well you are not alone and this is the meet-up for you!

With the release of the 5th Edition of Dungeons and Dragons and the 40th anniversary this year we have talked to a many people who are interested in learning to play. Most of the them are people who have never played an RPG before or they played 20-30 years ago when they were 12 yrs old and would like to get back into it. Some want to teach and play with their kids. We thought we would start organizing groups for people who fit this demographic!

This first meeting will be a meet and greet and a Q&A and planning session. By the end of the session we can hopefully have a good idea of who can play and when, what characters they would like to create and what days and time they are available. We can then create future regular meet-ups for actual game play.
