Shadows of Brimstone Expansions. Yes, that’s plural!

The vicious Swamp Slugs that lurk in Jargono are terrifying to behold! These massive molluscs can grow to enormous size with an underbelly lined with razor-sharp mandibles and a maw filled with tiny grinding teeth to devour their prey! Acidic mucus oozes from their gnarled skin to help ward off enemies and to aid in digestion once they have caught a meal.

The Shadows of Brimstone: Swamp Slugs of Jargono Enemy Pack everything you need to add the Swamp Slugs to your games of Shadows of Brimstone. There are three large Swamp Slug models included, as well as the large Enemy Record Sheet and all of the Threat Cards needed to add them to your games.

The Void is the space between worlds. When you pass through a Gate, you pass through the Void.

This set includes three of each of the Void Hound and Void Sorceror Enemy types and the Threat and Spell cards to go with them.

The Void Hounds slip in and out of reality as they move, passing through other models and savagely surprise attacking different targets each turn. This means that no one is safe from the hounds, even those hiding out in the back or around corners!

The Void Sorcerers cast random spells each round, drawn from a deck of spell cards. You draw a different spell for each Sorcerer each turn. Each card has two different effects listed, depending on whether it’s a normal casting, or was empowered by previous spells.

No one knows what has become of the ancient builders of the alien cities on the Targa Plateau! It is clear that they have been gone for sometime though, leaving the robotic Custodians and Guardians to watch over their legacy. In times of incursion, the massive Guardians awake, pulling free from their alcoves and stepping out to defend the city from intruders! Frozen over in a new ice age, the alien city has the chill of death lingering in the air and the halls echo with the sounds of the creatures that have started to take up residence there.

A single new XL Enemy with two Targa Plateau Threat Cards for Damaged Guardians and three Epic Threat Cards including one calling for two Guardians.

Rulers of the murky swamps of Jargono, the savage Serpentmen take objection to your intrusion into their world.

The Shadows of Brimstone: Serpentmen of Jargono expansion adds the Serpentmen Warriors (6) and a Serpentman Shaman (1) as Enemies along with threat cards for both the Swamps of Jargono and the Mines.

Once simple rats, the Hell Vermin have become deformed and twisted by the raw evil of the Darkness. These beasts have grown giant, sprouting multiple heads, a ridge of nasty spikes along their back, and a massive barbed tail to lash at their enemies! Their fangs drip with shadow and hate, corrupting those that are bitten, while their bodies mend even the most grievous of wounds. Only from the pits of Hell could such fiends be spawned!

The Shadows of Brimstone: Hell Vermin Enemy Pack contains everything you need to add the snarling mutant Hell Vermin to your games of Shadows of Brimstone! There are three large Hell Vermin models included, as well as the large Enemy Record Sheet and all of the Threat Cards needed to add them to your games.

Automobiles

Drivers, start your engines! Will you cross the finish line first? Now is your chance to find out!

Automobiles is a deck‑building game in which the fun is cubed — because instead of using cards to build a deck, you build with your collection of cubes. These cubes not only allow you to race your car around the track, but they also allow you to improve your handling, optimize your pit crew, and boost your speed, all of which are your keys to victory!

The goal of the game is to cross the finish line first! You accomplish this by customizing your race car and surrounding yourself with the best crew. Your race car and crew are represented by a collection of cubes garnered from various options available to you. Starting with the same small set of cubes, each player builds their collection as they play the game. Use these cubes to enhance your performance, train your pit crew, and ensure your race car runs as effectively as possible. Be the first to cross the finish line and watch that checkered flag wave!

Designed by David Short, Automobiles is the third title in AEG’s Destination Fun series! Continue your travels in the acclaimed Trains and Planes board games.

Sentinels of the Multiverse: Villains

The many villains from the Multiverse have been bested by the Freedom Five or Dark Watch or the Prime Wardens or even heroes not from a particular team. Many of those villains are prideful and would not deign to work with others, as their goals would not align. However, some of them have seen the value of cooperating towards a common goal, and those villains have joined forces, even at cross purposes, to defeat the heroes who have harried them for so long.

Some of these villains, such as Plague Rat or Biomancer, are more hesitant to work with other villains, whereas others, such as Citizens Hammer & Anvil or Sergeant Steel, are more than happy to join forces with other like-minded combatants.

Villains of the Multiverse is a collection of ten super-powered villains for Sentinels of the Multiverse, and rather than being standalone villains, they work as part of a team of villains in the play style introduced in Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance to group villains together as a team fighting against the hero team. Additionally, Villains of the Multiverse includes four new environments that can be used in any Sentinels of the Multiverse game.

Odyssey: Wrath of Poseidon

The war is over, and the Greek ships are trying to return to their homeland after a long absence. They need to reach the Sacred Island to present offerings and prayers to the gods, but the irascible Poseidon will use all his power to prevent them from getting there.

In Odyssey: Wrath of Poseidon, one player takes the role of Poseidon, God of the Sea, while the others become navigators in search of the Sacred Island. Gameplay takes place on two copies of the same game board that are separated by the game box so that they are not visible to one another. The Poseidon player throws powerful storms against the Navigators, driving them off-course and confounding them so that they cannot reach the Sacred Island in time. Only Poseidon knows the real position of the ships as indicated on his copy of the game board.

The navigators must sail through endless storms, blind to all around them, trying to gather clues to their whereabouts to stay on course. They also track the position of their ships on the game board, but the positions indicated are only a best guess — and they can become increasingly inaccurate as the game progresses.

The navigators must use their wits to stay on course and reach the Sacred Island before the end of the game, while Poseidon wins by preventing them from reaching their destination.

Red Flags

Red Flags is “The Game of Terrible Dates”

In Red Flags, your goal is to use “Perk” cards to create the best date for “The Single” (the judge for this round). However, there is a catch. Players may also play “Red Flags” (bad traits) in an attempt to sabotage another player’s hot date.

Each player has an opportunity to argue why their date is the best one for “The Single,” who chooses which awful date wins…

Mafia: Vendetta

Mafia: Vendetta is a game with extremely dramatic theme and gameplay. According to background legend, civilians have decided to get rid of the mafia presence in the city. Mafia members responded in pure “mafia style” – they, in turn, decided to get rid of all civilians. As two forces are unequal in numbers, the mafia gangsters must hide their identity, while doing everything possible to make civilians blame each other and “self-destruct”. The most dangerous opponents will be shot by mafia at night.

The game is divided into several phases. First, players choose the moderator of the game. After that, role cards are dealt randomly and players divide into teams of civilians and the mafia (including special roles). Then the night comes. In the night phase, all players hide their faces behind masks with no eye holes. However, the mafia doesn’t sleep and goes hunting! During the first night, the mafia gangsters silently remove masks and get acquainted with each other. At following nights they can kill one of civilians. After the night is over, the “day” phase is played. At “daytime” the identity of the murdered is revealed. Then all players debate and exchange ideas about who is likely to be a member of the mafia. At the end of the day, there is a vote to decide who should be executed.

The game goes on, repeating all phases of the day-night cycle, until one of the teams will win by eliminating the opposition. The rules of the game are quite simple, but because of the spirit of mistrust, intrigue, suspicion and constant deception the game is very tense and exciting!
