Pandemic: 10th Anniversary Edition

Image result for pandemic 10th anniversary

Celebrate a decade of curing diseases! Pandemic turned 10 this year, which is of course worthy of a special celebration. Z-Man Games is commemorating the 10th anniversary of the original game that started it all with a very special, Pandemic: 10th Anniversary Edition!

Gameplay-wise, this is the classic, beloved co-op—you and your team are still the only things standing in the way of deadly diseases that threaten the world, and you must work together to avert disaster. Yet again, the fate of humanity is in your hands! But with this beautifully rendered edition of the game, you’ll be saving humanity in style. It includes:

CUSTOM METAL BOX

This custom metal box was inspired by the look of early 20th century first aid kits, and it really grounded the entire product’s design. The minimalist design and font choices work together to make this feel like a truly exceptional vintage product. The game itself weighs an impressive 6 pounds, with the metal box contributing a significant amount of heft. And, for you hardcore Pandemic fans, the box comes with gaskets that allow you to mount it to the wall of your game room.

PLASTIC FIGURES

This has been a long time coming. Not only has this been one of the most-requested topics that appears on seemingly everyone’s wishlist, but at least once a year someone launches a crowdfunding campaign for a set of generic “disease-fighting” minis. The anniversary edition provided us with the perfect opportunity to introduce highly detailed figures into Pandemic. Each figure has been carefully sculpted based on the 2nd edition character designs, and they’ve been painted with a wash to really make those details pop!

WOODEN BITS

One of our goals with Pandemic 10th was to highlight the very best of both 1st and 2nd edition. We know many Pandemic fans appreciate the look and feel of the wooden components from the game’s 1st edition and we wanted to pay tribute to that aspect of the original game. We splurged on wood pieces for this special edition, and inside you’ll find wooden cubes as well as wooden cure markers screenprinted with the virus symbols.

ALL-NEW ART & GRAPHIC DESIGN

To complement the box’s minimalist design, Pandemic 10th features all-new art and graphic design. Even the character illustrations (which we kept from 2nd edition) get some special treatment to match the vintage aesthetic. The color palette, the layout, and even some special effects that render some of the printed materials as if they were made in an antique printshop really complete the whole design.

EVERYTHING ELSE

In addition to all of the above, Pandemic 10th features a larger board, converts the role cards into large ID badges with fingerprints and profile data, and has custom screen-printed Petri dishes. All in all, we are quite proud of the final product.

7 Wonders Armada

Image result for 7 wonders armada

7 Wonders: Armada is an expansion for 7 Wonders that can be combined with the base game or any combination of expansions.

With this expansion, each player gets a separate “naval” board at the start of the game in addition to their wonder board. The expansion includes additional red, green, yellow, and blue cards to shuffle into the deck, and each time that you pay for the cost for any red, green, yellow, and blue card — not only the ones added in this expansion — you can pay an additional cost shown on your naval board to advance your ship of the matching color. When you advance the red ship, for example, you gain naval strength, and at the end of an era, you compare your naval strength against all the players at the table, not only adjacent players, to determine who’s strongest, who’s second-strongest, etc., with victory points handed out accordingly.

Advancing on the yellow and blue tracks gives you coins and victory points, respectively, with additional naval strength at the far end of the tracks. Advancing on the green track allows you to discover islands, and to do this, you draw the island deck of whatever level you reached, then choose one of the islands in that deck and put it into play. Maybe you’ll increase your navy, advance a ship of another color, find a source of raw materials…you’ll see when the time comes!

Pandemic: The Fall of Rome

At the height of its power, the Roman Empire held more than two million square miles of territory containing over a hundred million people. Throughout the centuries of its existence, the Empire brought major advancements in engineering, architecture, science, art, and literature. By the beginning of the 5th Century, decades of political corruption, economic crisis, and an overburdened military had exacted a severe toll on the stability of the Empire. This paved the way for severe incursions from aggressive barbarian tribes, leading to a decline from which Rome would not recover. Now citizens, soldiers, and allies of Rome must unite to protect the Empire.

Combining the cooperative gameplay of Pandemic with innovative new mechanisms, Pandemic: Fall of Rome takes players back in history to the time of the world’s greatest empire: Rome. A weakened military has left the borders open to invasion from countless tribes such as the Anglo-Saxons, Goths, Vandals, and Huns. As you march through the Roman Empire, you must recruit armies, fortify cities, forge alliances, and face off against the invading hordes in battle.

Simply defending Rome is not enough; players must find a way to stop the incursions and find peace with their neighboring peoples. Players collect sets of matching-colored cards to forge an alliance with the different tribes. In doing so, they gain the ability to use cards matching the tribe to convert other members of that tribe into Roman soldiers, furthering their ability to hold the line against other invaders.

Take on unique roles with special abilities to improve your team’s chances to protect against the invaders. Work together, use your skills wisely, and stop the fall of Rome!

Pandemic: Fall of Rome includes a solitaire mode in which the player takes on the burden of being the Emperor and commands three different roles to try to protect the city from the invading hordes. Players who want a more difficult game can try the “Roma Caput Mundi” challenge by adding more Revolt cards to the deck; they must also respect the law in Rome that Roman legions are not allowed in the city.

The game features innovative mechanisms allowing players to simulate space combat using simple and intuitive rules to imitate the unique dynamics of the battles in the TV show.

Battlestar Galactica: Starship Battles includes both “Classical and “Reimagined” settings as the publisher’s license with Universal Brand Development includes both the classic series, created by Glen A. Larson in the late 1970s, and the re-imagined series developed by Ronald D. Moore and David Eick, which aired until 2010.

Talisman: Legendary Tales

Image result for Talisman: Legendary Tales

Many centuries ago, legendary smiths forged the Crown of Command, a magical artefact of immense power. Whoever wears the Crown of Command will hold power over all of the land.

Decades ago, a powerful wizard sealed the Crown of Command behind the Portal of Power to prevent evil forces from obtaining it. Only those who possess one of the legendary Talismans may pass through this Portal to reach the Crown. Over the years, five of the Talismans have disappeared. Enemy forces now seek to find them in order to seize the Crown of Command for themselves. Brave heroes that you are, you have banded together to go on a quest to retrieve all five Talismans and thereby stop the evil power behind these enemy forces from ruling the world. This task won’t be easy as finding each Talisman is an epic adventure in itself. However, if you work together using everyone’s abilities and helping one another when you can, you will surely succeed.

In Talisman: Legendary Tales, the players must work together as an adventure party to recover the five legendary Talismans that have been lost. During each adventure, the party endeavors to recover one of the lost Talismans. The adventures must be played in order. You may repeat adventures, and you may play one or more adventures in a game session.

Over the course of this story, you will travel across a wondrous land and have exciting adventures in which you must make important decisions and defend yourself against cruel enemies. As an adventure party, you succeed in each adventure once you have completed the final task and have recovered the Talisman. Be careful: You have only a limited amount of time!

Scythe: Encounters

In June 2018, Scythe fans were invited to make a design for ONE encounter card using specific art. Jamey reviewed the submissions, selected his favorites (often mixing and matching various submissions), and developed them. Now the Scythe Encounters promo boxed set is a reality!

Scythe Encounters is a boxed set of 32 brand-new promo encounter cards. These cards feature a number of innovations in the encounter system. We recommend that you play with them on their own for a few games; after that you can shuffle them into the regular encounter deck.

Architects of the Colosseum

The more you build in Die Baumeister des Colosseum, the easier it is to win — but getting the materials themselves won’t be so easy. The pace of the construction within the Colosseum determines how long the game will last, so it’s important to plan ahead…

Azul: Stained Glass

Created by Michael Kiesling, Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra challenges players to carefully select glass panes to complete their windows while being careful not to damage or waste supplies in the process. The window panels are double-sided, providing players with a dynamic player board that affords nearly infinite variability!

Players can expect to discover new unique art and components in Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra, including translucent window pane pieces, a tower to hold discarded glass panes, and double-sided player boards and window pane panels, in addition to many other beautiful components!

Dice Settlers

With a piece of land to call your own, a handful of resources, a few families and a head full of dreams you embark on a journey of a lifetime. Beyond lies the New World full of opportunities to make your dreams of a new home a reality. But beware, other settlers have come here as well, and although their beginnings are as humble as yours, each of them will want to influence these new lands as much as you. Will you become the most powerful?

Dice Settlers is a civilization dice game of pool building, resource gathering and area control. Each turn players reach into their bags of dice, roll and choose their own actions: from exploring new lands and building the board, through gathering resources and trading, to developing technologies which offer new abilities, each player chooses their own path to victory.

A changing board, a set of different technologies every time you play, and a vast array of available strategies await!

Dungeons & Dragons: Rock Paper Wizard – Fistful of Monsters

Encounter all your favorite classic D&D creatures, such as mimics, umber hulks, and beholders, in Rock Paper Wizard – Fistful of Monsters.

In this expansion for Rock Paper Wizard, a new threat has entered the mix: the wandering monster. Each wandering monster has its own unique ability that’s capable of forcing a wizard to move around the board, lose gold, or even take an injury token.

Wizards aren’t totally defenseless, however. A stack of magical items, such as a Ring of Spell Storing and Wand of Fireballs, is located at the entrance to the cave. Use these in combination with spells to avoid the wandering monster and move into a scoring position while gaining the fewest injury tokens. If you don’t, you’re going to have the pay the cleric a sack of gold to heal you!

Fistful of Monsters has a deeper box than the base game, which is required for play, so that you can store everything in one box.

Newton

Around the middle of the 17th century with the advent of the scientific method, a period of great change begins, called the scientific revolution. Many great scientists, with their theories and ideas, change our perception of the universe: Galileo Galilei, Copernicus, Kepler, Bacon and, above all, Sir Isaac Newton.

In Newton, players take the role of a young scientist who wants to become one of the great geniuses of this period. To do this, they travel around Europe, visit universities and cities, study to discover new theories, build new tools, and work to earn money.

The game is played over six rounds. Each round, every player plays five cards from their hand, with each played card allowing the player to perform one of the game’s actions. An action has a variety of effects, which depend on the symbols of that action visible on the board. At the end of the round, a player can take back all the cards played except one. One card has to be left on the board, which means that you give up one possibility of doing that action, but also that the action will be carried out with greater strength. Fortunately, you can acquire new cards that will allow you to perform more actions and with additional powers.

After six rounds, you calculate your final scoring, and the player with the most VP wins.

Mansions of Madness: Horrific Journeys

The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, and the Old Ones shall be. Not in the spaces we know, but between them, they walk serene and primal, undimensioned and to us unseen.
–H. P. Lovecraft, The Dunwich Horror

Evil haunts strange, far-flung places in Horrific Journeys, the newest expansion for Mansions of Madness Reality has begun to deteriorate in the New England countryside, danger rains from the skies, and even the seas are not safe as evil emerges from the depths. In the countryside, a speeding train desperately flees from a threat that defies all laws of reality. In the clouds, a dirigible’s voyage is interrupted by a vicious murder as a storm rolls in. And on the waves, a luxury ocean liner has been sabotaged by some madman planting explosives to sink the vessel.

Fresh Faces

In this latest expansion for Mansions of Madness, the investigators of Arkham find themselves far from the comforts of home, and the danger increases with each step they take away from their beloved city. To stand against the coming darkness, Horrific Journeys calls upon four new investigators from a wide variety of backgrounds, including a sailor, a spy, a musician, and a waitress. These brave men and women are each more than meets the eye, and the unique backstory on the back of their investigator cards tells you what has led them to this point—how they went from living the life of an average citizen to being thrust into the world of Elder Gods and monsters beyond comprehension.

To help them fight against and survive the mythos, each investigator has a special ability gained from their personal travels and years of living in a sleepy town on the edge of madness. The sailor Silas Marsh may not have much experience with the supernatural, but he is willing to push himself further than anyone to aid his allies, flipping his horror cards faceup to reroll his dice during a test. Meanwhile, Trish Scarborough, the skilled spy, finds it easy to succeed while performing a search action. Jim Culver is one of the world’s most talented musicians and he begins each game with his treasured Golden Trumpet. Finally, Agnes Baker is a waitress with dark powers that she is only beginning to understand, starting each investigation with her own signature spell.

When you choose to step into the shoes of these investigators and bring them to life, you’re accepting the responsibility of defying maddening monsters with the knowledge that you will never receive thanks or even an acknowledgement that your fight exists. Arkham holds its secrets close. Most of its citizens insist that their sleepy town is the very definition of normal, but those who dare to look closer know that all is not right in Massachusetts. Now, as the evil that rots Arkham from within spreads beyond the city limits, you have little choice but to chase down the darkness and bring it to heel.

Tales from the Road

Horrific Journeys unlocks three new digital scenarios, packed with previously unseen secrets, conspiracies, and mythos events to challenge and intrigue your team of investigators. In 10:50 to Arkham, you and your colleague, Harriet, are passengers on a train winding through the New England countryside. She has been working on a theory regarding a complex conspiracy; one connected not only to you, but to several of the other passengers. So, when Harriet disappears from the car, you know your enemies must be close. But now there is nowhere for them to run… right?

Then, in Murder on the Stargazer Majestic, you have the golden opportunity to travel aboard a dirigible airship on a transatlantic voyage. But what begins as a peaceful journey is suddenly interrupted when you hear cries from below. Rushing to the gondola, you discover that a passenger has been killed. At the same moment, lightning cracks across the sky and rain begins to pelt the craft. Whatever has taken place here, it is no ordinary crime. There is a dark force at work.

Finally, Hidden Depths takes you to the deck of the RMS Morgana, where you have been hired to investigate strange rumors surrounding the vessel. The ship has been plagued by a series of tragic accidents, and reports of unnatural sea creatures grow evermore frequent. After four days at sea, you are about to step below deck as you have many times before, when you are thrown back by a freak explosion. What on Earth happened? Was this planned? As the crew erupts into chaos around you, how do you know who to trust?

With this last scenario, Horrific Journeys introduces a brand-new mechanic in the form of agendas, which represent the hidden allegiances of each player. When playing Hidden Depths with three or more investigators, you each receive an agenda card that you must keep secret from the rest of the team. Taking a twist on the Insane condition already present in Mansions of Madness, these cards foster the seeds of mistrust, potentially turning your teammates against one another and forcing you to become suspicious of the very people you would once trust with your life.

You may find that you are unchanged; simply another human, attempting to escape in the lifeboats with as many of your fellow survivors as possible. But you must be wary, for some of those among you are not all they seem: the other agenda you may receive casts you into the role of a Deep One Hybrid. With this shifted loyalty, you do not win the game as normal. Instead, your goal is to sabotage the investigation and keep the secrets of your people from being revealed to the rest of the world. You must get to the lifeboats with the humans and prevent them from reaching the shore, but if there are too many of them, you will be outnumbered and outmatched. Wherever your loyalties lie, you must be careful not to let your paranoia get the best of you as you seek out friends from foes. If you made a rash decision that cost an innocent ally their life, would you ever be able to forgive yourself?

All Aboard

Wherever evil emerges, the investigators of Arkham will be there to fight back the darkness and protect our world from the terrors that thrive beyond our reality. Should you join them, there is no guarantee that you will survive the journeys that await, and even if you can survive, you will not be unchanged. But the call to take a stand is not one that you can deny. Pack your bags, climb aboard, and steel your nerve for the horrors ahead!

Robin Hood and His Merry Men Deluxe Edition

Nottingham 1100 A.D.: The True King is away in the Holy Lands and the town is under rule by the evil tyrant, Prince John. He has forced matrimony upon Maid Marian and locked her in his castle against her will. The young princess sends word of her captivity to fabled outlaw and her true love, Robin Hood.

He vows to save her with help from his Merry Men — faithful souls who would follow him to hell and back! But this time, Robin sees doubt in their eyes. Little John, Will Scarlet and the other Merry Men deem the mission so perilous—it could plunge Nottingham into turmoil. Torn between love for the princess and his town, Robin devises a plan to save both! He proposes a challenge, betting his men that none can protect Nottingham as well as he. If one of them bests him at this task, he will bestow his mantle of leadership to the victor! They accept his wager, and pledge to rescue Maid Marian, no matter the outcome.

Their quest will require bravery, cunning and all the wits they can muster! Will one of the Merry Men become Nottingham’s newest hero, or will Robin live up to his own legend?

Robin Hood and the Merry Men is a semi cooperative, but a highly competitive board game set in the folklore we all know and love. It’s a thematic euro style game that perfectly blends worker placement, hand management, set collection and dice rolling into a one big exciting crossover.

In Robin Hood and the Merry Men, players take on the role of a famous outlaw such as Robin Hood, Little John, Will Scarlet and Jane Fortune, and their mission is to protect the town of Nottingham from the tyranny of infamous ruler Prince John and the notorious Sheriff of Nottingham throughout 5 rounds of onslaught. If they succeed, a winner is declared-the player with the most VP becomes Nottingham’s greatest champion.

Each round consists of two phases: A Merry Men phase and a Hero phase.

In the Merry Men phase, you will call upon your faithful friends who are famous for their abilities to build and set various traps. In order to stay one step ahead, you will send The Merry Men to acquire resources and weapons, and lay traps to catch the Sheriff’s endless army of Guards. Assigning Merry Men is done through playing Merry Men cards that offer variable actions.

With King Richard being away on the Crusades, Prince John has given the Sheriff of Nottingham power to tax the villages in and around Nottingham, so you must order your Merry Men to build barricades on the roads to prevent the heavily guarded and gold-filled carriages from entering the castle.

Before he went on his crusade, King Richard gave you certain tasks. In the midst of his struggles, he would welcome the news that his brave heroes have completed them.

In the Hero phase you will send your Hero to fight the Sheriff’s guards, ambush and rob the royal carriages of their treasures, enter archery tournaments, rescue prisoners from the castle’s darkest dungeons and much much more.

Duelosaur Island

Duelosaur Island is built around a clever hand-management mechanism. Each card in the game serves three potential purposes. They contain the DNA sequences for dinosaurs you could create, the blueprints for attractions you can build, and certain actions that you can take by discarding them. Do you create the dinosaur on the top of the card to attract guests to your park? Or do you build the attraction on the bottom of the card, which can add to a player’s hand-limit, income, and end-game victory points? Or do you discard the card to combine DNA towards creating another dinosaur?

Duelosaur Island comes with five new full-color “DNA dice”. You can mix and match dice between Dinosaur Island and Duelosaur Island for even more variability in both games, such as the new security symbol that can appear on dice to upgrade your security level instantly!

Gen7

An international colony ship has left an exhausted Earth, headed for a distant planet in the Epsilon Eridani system. Thirteen generations will be born on this vessel before it reaches its destination, each generation a steward of the hopes and ideals of the human species. For six generations, everything has gone as planned….

Now, just as a new command team takes control of the ship, a terrible mystery emerges that will threaten the entire mission. The commanders of Gen7 are about to discover that everything is not as it seems, and the fate of the human species will hang on the choices they make.

In the tradition of the award-winning Dead of WinterGen7: A Crossroads Gameis a grand narrative game with multiple possibilities. The choices players make as they play will alter the direction of the story. Gen7 will constantly challenge its players with a variety of unique situations that force them to make difficult moral decisions. Will you compromise your integrity to ensure the safety of your crew? Will you value their lives over the safety of the mission?

Last Heroes

A dimensional gate has just opened, and monsters are surging over our world. You have been called to kill them and steal the artefacts from the monster bosses. These artefacts all together allow to close the gate open by the Chaos monsters. Use your weapons cleverly and help your fellow hunters by providing them ammunition, but in the end, only one hero will build up their name and get glory.

During your turn in Last Heroes, you choose one of the weapon cards from your hand and play it in:

  • Your supply area (with its ammunitions then being available to opponents), or
  • Your attack area (using the ammunition available in your or the other players’ supply area).

Then you can attack one monster provided that you have the required weapons. When you kill a boss (in the third row), the player who has made a dent in the second row gets an artefact. If you directly kill a boss (without making a dent first), you need more weapons but you score the artefact for yourself. The game may end in two ways:

  • Immediately when the players get all the artefacts (in which case, each Artefact scores 5 points),
  • OR after ten turns (in which case, the Artefacts do not score).

Last Heroes is both collaborative and competitive. You need the other players’ ammunition to load your weapons, and in return you help them by making a dent in the monsters’ rows. The winner is the player who has killed the most valuable monsters and provided the most ammunitions to their fellow hunters.

Marvel Strike Teams

Marvel Strike Teams puts players in the role of some of their favorite Marvel Universe heroes and villains. Two to five players face off in a classic battle of good versus evil. Everyone gets a character with a HeroClix combat dial to track their level and build points. One player is the villainous mastermind and is able to guide the direction of each encounter; the rest are the heroes who each control a single hero for the mission and must work together by combining their vast array of powers and abilities to complete various objectives, such as infiltrating an enemy warehouse or saving hostages.

Each hero is unique with individual play styles, giving players multiple options to play the way that best suits them. The environment also lends to the game play, putting obstacles in the way of players and granting them objects they can use as weapons. A wooden crate may block Captain America’s path, but he can pick it up and hurl it at enemy Hydra soldiers. Players will quickly pick the role that best suits their team and lead the heroes to victory — or at least they hope so!

Aside from standalone missions, Marvel Strike Teams includes a campaign-based game in which the players can improve their heroes over the course of several missions. With randomly generated scenarios, multiple map tiles, and thousands of possible encounters, each mission will feel like a fresh experience!

Great Western Trails: Rails to the North

Great Western Trail: Rails to the North introduces a new railway system for players to compete on as they grow their cow herding businesses.

With this expansion, players deliver their herds to northeast United States with stops in Chicago, Detroit, and New York City, amongst other cities, in an effort to become the most successful cow rancher this side of the Mississippi. Be advised that business is much more difficult on this rail, so players will want to take advantage of friendly hospitality by establishing branchlets and helping form towns. In addition to the new railway system, players will also discover new station master tiles, private buildings, and an expanded player board to offer more strategic depth in their decision making.

Terraforming Mars: Colonies

Our world has widened before us. Corporations expand their operations to all corners of the solar system in pursuit of minerals and resources. Most places are not suited for terraforming, but building colonies may greatly improve your income and your possibilities in achieving that higher goal — the terraforming of Mars. Send your trade fleet to distant moons! Colonize the clouds of Jupiter! And let your Earth assets propel you to success!

Terraforming Mars: Colonies, an expansion for Terraforming Mars that can be played with only the base game or with any combination of expansions, lets you visit the outer solar system. It features colony tiles where you can build colonies and send your trade fleet. It also includes new cards and corporations.

Treasure Island

Long John Silver’s crew has committed mutiny and has him cornered and tied up! Round after round, they question him about the location of his treasure and explore the island following his directions — or perhaps his misdirections? Who knows… The old sea dog is surely planning an escape, after all, after which he will definitely try to get his treasure back.

Treasure Island is a game of bluffing and adventure in which one player embodies Long John, trying to mislead the others in their search for his treasure. The hunt reaches its climax with Long John’s escape, when he will make a final run to get the booty for himself!

Kanban: Driver’s Edition

“Kanban” — or 看板, the Japanese word for billboard — is a term for the visual cues that might be used in a lean, efficient assembly line in order to expedite and smooth workflow. These signals get the workers what they need, where they need it, when they need it to create a just-in-time (JIT) production system.

The setting for the game Kanban: Automotive Revolution is an assembly line. The players are ambitious managers who are trying to impress the board of directors in order to achieve as high a position as possible in the company and secure their careers. With promotions come advantages at the factory, such as more space to store precious materials and greater prestige to accelerate your ascent. Through solid management, you must strive to shine next to your peers. You need to manage suppliers and supplies, improve automobile parts, innovate — anything to stay on the cutting edge, or getting your hands greasy on the assembly line in order to boost production. You must exercise wisdom in choosing which projects you should start, selecting only those that will give you the upper hand and shunning those that will bog you down or cause the unthinkable — failure — which would diminish you in the eyes of the board.

Over the course of the game, you persuade the board and the factory tender to help you develop and improve automobile parts. You make shrewd use of the outside suppliers and the limited factory supplies in order to appropriate needed part when the suppliers come up short. Because the factory must run at optimum efficiency, production doesn’t wait for you or for mistakes.

Like the process itself, Kanban: Automotive Revolution proves to be both innovative and rewarding. Game mechanisms tightly tied to the automobile manufacturing theme include:

  • The factory manager is a game-driven non-player character with two modes of play (“nice” or “mean”) to offer a friendly or more competitive gameplay environment.
  • Two independent player-influenced game timers — the factory production cycle and work week clock — provide timing tension to the game, trigger intermediate scoring phases, and factor into the game end conditions.
  • A simulation of the factory assembly line with spatial point-to-point movement adds an element to the game that requires optimal timing.
  • A design and innovation department, leveraged to manipulate the value of the various car models and component upgrades produced within the factory, drives the economy of the game.
  • Departmental training and certification tracks provide players a means to operate more efficiently.

If you want a seat on the board someday, you need to show that you can keep a complex machine running smoothly, efficiently, with everything happening just at the right time. Kanban: Automotive Revolution is a pure Eurogame focused on economics and resource management that puts you in the driver’s seat of an entire production facility, racing for the highest level of promotion.

Gingerbread House

Once upon a time a witch lived alone in her house in the depths of the forest. Her favorite hobby was baking yummy gingerbread; in fact, she loved gingerbread so much that she built her entire house out of it. Unfortunately, she wasn’t the only one who loved it! Rude fairy tale characters passing by were eating away her walls, windows, and doors! One day, the witch decided that she’d had enough of them all helping themselves and, paying attention to which types of gingerbread these greedy intruders liked the most, she came up with an idea on how to get rid of them once and for all…

In Gingerbread House, you place domino-like tiles in a 3 by 3 grid, covering symbols that provide you with four different types of gingerbread and special actions. Tiles may also be placed on existing types of tiles, forming a 3D structure in front of you. Covering two of the same symbol is extremely valuable as it provides a bonus gingerbread or action. Victory points are awarded for building the tallest structure, completing orders by discarding sets of gingerbread, as well as being the quickest to achieve certain conditions. In the end, the player with the most victory points wins.

Scorpious Freighter

It’s been almost one hundred years since the Scorpius system was settled. Over the decades, the Government has taken control of everything. Tens of billions of Sentients live in Scorpius with no hope of advancement, no hope of escape — except that not everyone in the Government toes the line.

Some still believe in freedom. A few bold freighter captains use the system against itself, handling their sanctioned job duties…as well as a lot of extracurricular activities like smuggling restricted medicines, passing censored information, and facilitating transactions below the Government radar. They are fueling the revolution.

And the revolution is coming.

In Scorpius Freighter, you are a rebellious freighter captain smuggling goods and information to thwart the oppressive government.

  • Recruit crew: From the back alley brute to the elite educated, they are the best at what they do.
  • Customize ships: Outfit your standard sanctioned freighter with hidden holds and an upgraded cockpit.
  • Smuggle goods: Conduct illegal transactions while dodging the authorities.

RWBY Combat Ready

RWBY: Combat Ready is an exciting cooperative game for 2-4 players. It captures the flavor and excitement of the animated web series RWBY from Rooster Teeth, with fast-paced battles, where all players are actively involved and engaged at the same time.

Players play as one of the four main heroines in the series: Ruby, Weiss, Blake, or Yang. Each of them have their own separate deck of cards, representing their attacks, actions, and moves. Each character plays a little differently, using their own unique tactics and strategies. Players record their key stats on their Scrolls (player tracking boards), including their Aura (health), Experience, Battle Fury, and their Semblance (unique special ability).

Before each game, players choose a scenario to play from the scenario book. Each scenario will have them fighting one or more battles. Battles are against a particular Villain, with a particular set of rules and may include one or more objectives. No two battles are ever the same!
