Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage Board Game

The Rise and Fall of Anvalor

In the region of Aqshy, even if your uneasy allies place their resources in the perfect place, your mutual enemies can be strong and unpredictable. You’ll build resources to block your allies from developing their strongest options, and they’ll return the favor. They’ll weaken enemies and you’ll try to deliver the killing blow. Each turn provides many choices, so you need to pivot as you learn the strategies best suited to your common enemy as well as your allies. One thing’s for certain — whether Anvalor survives the siege on it or not, things are sure to get heated!

In Warhammer: Age of Sigmar – The Rise & Fall of Anvalor, your official task is to help build and defend Anvalor together with the other factions.

However, your real goal is to gather the most influence and secure dominance over Anvalor, even if it might ultimately cause the fall of the city. Gather the most influence for your faction by building city buildings and defeating enemies during vicious assaults. At the end of the game, the player who has the most influence over the city reigns supreme and secures their dominance over The Great Parch!

With more than 180 tiles, nine different factions (six player factions, three enemy factions), and four play variants beyond the standard game, The Rise & Fall of Anvalor features an enormous amount of gameplay content!

Spacecorp

SpaceCorp: 2025-2300 AD is a fast-playing board game in which one to four players explore and develop outer space over three eras. Each player controls an Earth-based enterprise seeking profit by driving the expansion of humanity into the Solar System and beyond. In SpaceCorp you can …

  • Assemble a spaceport at a Lagrange Point.
  • Launch an exploration mission to Mars.
  • Mine the asteroids.
  • Earn profit from exotic resources discovered on the Jovian moons.
  • Discover microbial life in the subsurface oceans of Charon.
  • Decode exo-DNA to develop radiation resistant human pioneers.
  • Undertake a mission to Alpha Centauri in a generation ship.
  • Break through technological barriers to achieve faster-than-light travel.
  • Establish a colony in the Tau Ceti star system.

Each of the three eras is played on a different board:

  • The first era, Mariners, covers exploration and development out to Mars.
  • In Planeteers, players settle the outer solar system.
  • In Starfarers, players send missions to nearby star systems and establish interstellar colonies.

The game is based on Ejner Fulsang’s SpaceCorp book, the first of the Galactican Series.

Magnastorm

When the first exploration vessels entered the cloudy atmosphere of the planet Magnastorm, they discovered not only evidence of abundant natural resources, but also the remains of a long-lost civilization. At the bidding of the magistracy, scout vehicles are lowered to the barren surface to search for suitable mining areas.

The goal of Magnastorm is to be the first player with a certain number of reputation points. You acquire reputation mostly through fulfilling objectives, taking control of one or more of the eight commanders, and building transmitter stations. The flow of the game is controlled by an action board with two action panels, each of which has five columns. At the start of each round, there are a 3-5 action tokens (crew members) standing in each column on the upper action panel. To carry out an action, a player:

A) takes an action token from the upper panel and places it on the lower action panel either to gain resources or to pay for a movement on the planet surface, or
B) pays for every action token still standing in a certain column on the upper panel to gain control over the commander and his ability at the top of that panel, after which the player places those action tokens on the lower panel.

Since option A) will reduce the cost for option B), the players have to find the right timing for their actions. A round ends when the upper panel is empty. For the next round, the panels are swapped.

Magnastorm is a big, tactical board game with very little luck. Choose the right moment to perform actions or buy influence over helpful commanders. You will reap success through resource management, clever logistics, good timing, and a shrewd eye on the actions of your opponents. At the end of the game, each player receives one of 120 reward cards, which can be used in later games to compensate for varying levels of skill among the players.

Battlestar Galactica: Starship Battles Expansions

The Raider is the primary Cylon assault craft, fi rst encountered during the destruction of the Twelve Colonies. The ship is actually a bio-mechanical, self-aware, living creature, with a complex system of organs, veins and, biological fluids inside its main body.

The Raider is armed with two kinetic energy guns, and it may sometimes carry conventional and nuclear missiles. Capable of FTL jumps, Raiders are also very maneuverable and hard to keep in sight for more than a few seconds.

Like other Cylons, Raiders can be resurrected, so they can continue developing their skills after being destroyed. This Raider, nicknamed Scar by the Colonials, is possibly the most vicious and experienced opponent encountered.

The Viper is the primary space superiority fighter/attack craft of the Colonial Fleet. At the time of the First Cylon War, the Mark II was designed specifically for use with the Colonial Battlestars. While later superseded by newer models, the presence of Vipers on the Galactica proved essential to surviving the new Cylon attack.

Kara “Starbuck” Thrace is the fleet’s most talented, passionate, and rebellious Viper pilot. In addition to the Viper MK. II model with her call sign, this pack includes Starbuck’s pilot card and skill cards.
