Brook City is a cooperative miniatures board game of blockbuster action for 1–4 cops. Taking on the roles of heroic cops inspired by classic action movie stars, players take their cop decks up against sinister criminal decks and cryptic case decks.

Gameplay focuses on a sprawling game board depicting the mean streets of Brook City. Players must use their chosen cop’s unique deck to race across the city—both on foot and behind the wheel—busting up their chosen criminal’s machinations while simultaneously piecing together the clues to the chosen case.

Brook City thrusts players into a world of big budget Hollywood action, where they can take down dangerous criminals, bust crimes with custom dice, commandeer a variety of vehicles, and solve complex cases inspired by classic cop stories.

Brook City utilizes Adam and Brady Sadler’s “Modular Deck System (MDS),” which they introduced in Street Masters. The MDS focuses on quick setup and elegant, card-driven gameplay, while allowing players to customize their game experience by mixing and matching fixed decks to create truly unique match-ups.

Downfall

In the year 2213, the world order — as it had been known for a century and a half — came to an abrupt end over a 19 day war. The bombs started falling on the third day, and by the 19th day ninety-nine percent of the earth’s population was dead or would be soon. Wars and conflicts had raged now and again for decades prior, populations rising up, and the global government seeking to quell the conflict and maintain the status quo. But in the most recent five year period, the conflicts escalated rapidly, and the world order began to come apart—leaders became scared and trigger fingers twitchy. No one knows who pressed the button first, and in the harsh realities of the world that followed, no one cared. What mattered was surviving and, if possible, rebuilding.

Each turn, players will draft and simultaneously play a card from their hand (“pack”) to indicate their action for the turn. This may be moving citizens or airships to explore or expand around the modular board, building structures, researching technology, initiating conflict, producing or gathering resources, and abating radiation. All of these things can earn you points in different ways. If you cannot store resources, they are left on the ground and are available for anyone present to use. Each card has an action and a lesser version of another action, so you’re never stuck being entirely unable to do a particular thing, and you can also store cards for future.

Once all actions are complete, hands are passed to the next player and a new card is added to each one. If a “Winter” card is added, it is discarded and replaced, and the game timer advances. As the game timer advances, both expected events (spread of radiation, combat, feeding your citizens) and unexpected events may occur. When the Winter track reaches the end, the game is over, and points are scored.

Madame is the tenth scenario for T.I.M.E Stories and promises to shake things up.

The latest expansion is T.I.M.E. Stories: Madame, which sees players pick up on plot points from earlier missions (expansions) as part of an overall story line dubbed, “The White Cycle”. This mission takes place in Versailles, Paris, and the publishers have hinted that the narrative flow sets up a major shift for the game which would take place in “The Blue Cycle” in future. The core game, T.I.M.E. Stories, is required to play this expansion.

The Emergence of Shy Pluto is the first installment of Space Base “Saga Expansions”. This expansion to Space Base is a collection of story-based scenarios that introduce new content to the game via a narrative structure. Not only are new ships added, but new scenarios are included as well. Once the story is completed, it may be replayed or the contents may be added to the Space Base base set.

Aerion

You are an air-shipwright, that is, an inventor of flying machines used by the dreams to traverse the skies of the Oniverse. You have been challenged to build a new fleet, the most beautiful ever seen. Now you must roll the dice to acquire the components you need to build airships.

In Aerion, a solo/co-operative game for 1-2 players, you must find the best blueprints, acquire the finest construction materials, and recruit the best crew. Discarding cards can adjust your die rolls, but be careful not to exhaust your resources! Can you build the best fleet?

Aerion includes six expansion modules with new options and challenges.

Challenge of the Superfriends Card Game

The Superfriends have gathered at the Hall of Justice to take on the challenge of thirteen of the most sinister villains of all time. Play your cards right and you’ll defeat the Legion of Doom!

Based on the classic animated TV show, Challenge of the Superfriends Card Game uses Cryptozoic’s “Gryphon” card game engine to deliver a simultaneous, easy-to-learn tabletop experience. Each player has a ten-card deck that allows them to call forth allies or use super powers.
