Horrified includes high-quality sculpted miniatures (Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Dracula, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon). Its innovative, easy-to-learn, cooperative gameplay has players working together against the monsters with varying levels of difficulty. Just as each monster is unique, they require different strategies and tactics to be defeated.

Marvel Fluxx

Fluxx is a card game in which the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game. By playing cards, you change numerous aspects of the game: how to draw cards, how to play cards, and even how to win.

At the start of the game, each player holds three cards and on a turn a player draws one card, then plays one card. By playing cards, you can put new rules into play that change numerous aspects of the game: how many cards to draw or play, how many cards you can hold in hand or keep on the table in front of you, and (most importantly) how to win the game.

Marvel Fluxx features the gameplay of Fluxx and characters and events from the Marvel Universe.

Note that the Looney Labs edition of the game includes seven additional cards and a collector’s coin used in gameplay; these cards won’t be included in the edition from Cardinal Games, but will be sold separately by Looney Labs.

These expansions allows a player to add and play the Fifth and Tenth Doctors or Seventh and Ninth Doctors to the base game of “Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks”. Each of these Doctors come with their own set of cards, figures, dilemmas and locations which can be added to the core game.

In addition these expansions also allows an additional two players to the core game increasing the player count from four to six.

Dead Man’s Cabal

You’ve conquered death and mastered all nine dimensions of space-time. Reality bends to your every whim and desire. You are the absolute best there ever has been, a necromancer at the top of their game. The only downside is that no one likes you on account of the creeping around with dead bodies and the lack of sunlight. But who needs friends when you can make them?

Dead Man’s Cabal is a mid-weight strategy game from Daniel Newman, with game development from Jonathan Gilmour (Dead of WinterDinosaur Island). In the game, 2-4 players compete to bring the dead back to life so that they can throw a party with actual, you know, guests.

The gameplay is a clever interplay of a unique action selection mechanism that allows players to choose both a private action followed by a group action, requiring tense decision-making on the timing of the different phases of the game. Collect bodies, crystal skulls, and runes, then bring the dead back to life. This might sound simple enough, but triggering the actions in just the right order requires careful planning to make sure you aren’t helping your competitors more than yourself.

Penny Lane

Penny Lane is a worker placement game for 2-5 players in which players compete to build the most prosperous city avenue. You can build residences, shops like the Confectioners, and attractions like the Penny Arcade! You’ll also need to employ citizens to generate income for your lane. Penny Lane also has a tableau-building component, where players can get bonus points or currency by aligning their buildings with different “links.”

Each round consists of an action phase followed by an upkeep phase. In the action phase, a player can either select a Main Street action or pass. The action phase repeats until each player has passed.

To take a Main Street action, a player must choose from the communal Main Street cards, and place the required number of pennies on the open action space. The player then carries out the effect of that card. Possible actions include purchasing a building, placing a worker, rearranging buildings, or claiming the Mayor meeple to become the new 1st player.

Each player places purchase buildings in their lane. If they’re able to connect a penny link, they get an extra penny at the end of each upkeep phase. If they’re able to connect a victory point link, they get an extra victory point at the end of the game.

In the upkeep phase, all players gain 1 penny. Players then resolve all effects in their lane as indicated by the upkeep symbol and their penny links.

The final round is triggered when one player has 10 or more points on their lane, and the player with the most victory points wins!

Star Trek Chrono-Trek

In Star Trek Chrono-Trek, a time-travel game similar to Chrononauts but set in the Star Trek universe, each player becomes a Star Trek character with a unique identity and a secret mission. During the game, players travel backwards and forwards through history, doing all those things people have always dreamed of using time travel to do: Visiting the great moments of the past, peeking into the future, collecting up artifacts, coming to grips with the paradoxes of time travel, and of course, changing pivotal events and altering the course of history itself.

Explore the history (and alternate history!) of the entire Star Trek universe in this version of Chrononauts. Try to alter history to restore your specific timeline! Maybe you need to ensure that the Federation gets founded, or just retrieve the Orb of Time and some tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

Sovereign’s Chain

Sovereign’s Chain — a strategic, cutthroat card game — is so named due to the class cards played in front of players that form chains. You can play cards onto your own chain or those of your opponents. While most cards are played face up, which activates their abilities, some can be played face down to be activated later. Class cards come in two suits — stars and planets — and to win, you must have the highest difference in points between these two suits when someone’s chain reaches seven cards. To add a wrinkle to the game, a small deck of event cards is included, with unique effects that change the game completely.
