Toy Story Deck Building Game, Godzilla Card Game, New Villainous, Fireball Island and More!
Toy Story Obstacles & Adventures: A Cooperative Deck Building Game
Toy Story: Obstacles and Adventures reimagines players as the iconic toys from the film — Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep and Rex — who need to work together to overcome hazards and bring about a happily-ever-after ending.
Similar to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, Toy Story: Obstacles and Adventures features six boxes of cards, each representing a different movie from the treasured property. As each box is unlocked, the content from the associated movie or short is introduced to the game, adding beloved characters like Hamm and Mr. Pricklepants to the mix, as well as obstacles and antagonists to battle, including Sid, Prospector Pete, and many more.
Godzilla Card Game
Valley of the Kings: Premium Edition
When you die, you can take it with you!
Take on the role of Egyptian nobles at the time of the pharaohs, preparing for death and burial in the Valley of the Kings. Players want to fill their tombs with food, canopic jars, statues, amulets and other treasures, and to do so they acquire cards that are laid out in the shape of a pyramid; purchase cards at the base of the pyramid, and it “crumbles” to bring cards higher in the pyramid to the base where they can be bought. The pyramid resets each round with new offerings.
You score only for cards that you remove from your deck and stash in your tomb, so if you keep using valuable cards for their effects and don’t entomb them before the game ends, you could lose out on big points! Whoever collects the most valuable artifacts in their tomb wins.
Valley of the Kings: Premium Edition includes all the cards from the three previously released games (Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Kings: Afterlife, Valley of the Kings: Last Rites), plus the components needed to play with a fifth and sixth player. It also includes rules for solo play, dividers for all the cards, and new pharaoh cards that give their holder unique abilities. The components are upgraded to 300+ tarot-sized cards.
Fireball Island: Spider Springs
Fireball Island just got a whole lot bigger. There’s just one problem: It’s covered with spiders, and they have a nasty habit of “popping up” all over the place. Use the caves to get to the peninsula. Navigate the chasm to scoop up valuable spider eggs. Stop for a snapshot on the scenic bridge. But watch out! When Vul-Kar starts rumbling, the spiders start jumping!
This expansion adds a new location to explore, a new kind of treasure to collect and a new hazard: spiders! Spiders are worth negative points at the end of the game. In the center of the chasm is a spring-loaded “spider launcher”. Marbles can trigger the launcher, sending spiders around the chasm or into a crevasse, where they can make their way onto the main island. You’ll even send spiders through Vul-Kar with the new Arachnoclysm action card. It even offers a new way to get off the island via a secret submarine.
Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared
In Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared, each player takes control of one of three Disney characters, each one a villain in a different Disney movie, specifically Scar from The Lion King, Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove, and Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective. Each player has their own villain deck, fate deck, player board, and 3D character.
On a turn, the active player moves their character to a different location on their player board, takes one or more of the actions visible on that space (often by playing cards from their hand), then refills their hand to four cards. Cards are allies, items, effects, and conditions. You need to use your cards to fulfill your unique win condition.
One of the actions allows you to choose another player, draw two cards from that player’s fate deck, then play one of them on that player’s board, covering two of the four action spaces on one of that player’s locations. The fate deck contains heroes, items, and effects from that villain’s movie, and these cards allow other players to mess with that particular villain.
Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared is playable on its own, and its characters can also face off against those in the Disney Villainous base game from 2018 and the Disney Villainous: Wicked to the Core standalone game in 2019.
