The Wandering Dragon is goin’ Old School and starting up a zero-to-hero style D&D 2E campaign! The kind of game that inspired Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 and has a classic tone, similar to the D&D Stranger Things vibe. Think dangerous dungeons, strange mysteries and a world that opens up as you explore it.

This is an open-world campaign where your choices actually matter. It’s very much an old-school feel: you start small, you figure things out as you go, and you earn every victory.

All experience levels are welcome, even if you’ve never played D&D before. We’ll help everyone learn how to play and have materials available, such as the handbook and character sheets, so you can just come out and play. The focus is on fun, exploration, and classic D&D “anything can happen”.

The group will meet every Thursday, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

The cost to play is membership in our Role Playing Guild, a $15 per person, paid in advance, automatically recurring, weekly subscription.  Every Role Playing Guild member also receives a standing 10% discount (some exclusions apply) on your purchases of books, dice, minis, paints, puzzles, toys and games while your membership is active.

In-Store Play Policy

Everyone Should Feel Welcome: Everyone, regardless of personal background, lifestyle or player experience level, is welcome to play in any of our games. We ask all of our players to be kind to one another and help each other learn how to play and answer questions.

Everyone Should Feel Comfortable: Everyone must be considerate of those around them and adhere to our Personal Hygiene Policy. In a nutshell, shower and use deodorant before arriving. Wear clean clothes and avoid strong perfume, cologne or body sprays.

Everyone Should Feel Safe: We keep things family friendly, which for us means no bullying, no use of coarse language (no cussing, cursing, swearing, suggestive terms or sexual expletives) and no explicit or graphic content in conversation, on clothing or game accessories. In game, do not intentionally harm your fellow party’s characters, companions or familiars.

No Outside Food or Drinks: We have a full pantry and cooler with a wide range of snacks and drinks available for purchase. We don’t allow outside food and drinks, including water, coffee, juice, soft drinks, tea, water bottles, empty bottles, cups, flasks, mugs, thermoses, Stanleys, YETIs or any other type of receptacle, or previously purchased snacks or drinks. Any drinks or snacks enjoyed while playing in our events must have been purchased from The Wandering Dragon on the same day.

We also have a menu book for our local restaurant partner. You are welcome to order meals such as pizza, sandwiches, entrees, etc. for delivery to your table if you wish. However, you may not order drinks or snacks from our restaurant partner. Again all drinks and snacks must be purchased from The Wandering Dragon.
