Zombicide: Invader Core Set and LE Bundle are Now at The Wandering Dragon!
Humans set off into the stars in search of high-powered fuel and found it in the remote corner of the universe on the small planet PK-L7. Their discovery of Xenium — a dark, oily compound deep below the planet’s surface — was everything they hoped for. But they found something else, too. The Xenos attack was brutal and unrelenting. While the scientists and soldiers have held them off the best they could, the Xenos are still coming…
Zombicide: Invader is a cooperative game in which 1-6 players face an unfathomable swarm of infected Xenos controlled by the game itself. Each player takes on the role of one to six survivors in a sci-fi setting being overwhelmed by these Xenos. The goal is simple: Choose a mission, complete its objectives, kill as many Xenos as possible, and (most importantly) survive!
Survivors will fight Xenos, rescue each other, recover vital data, unveil dark secrets, and much more! Survivors can be civilians or soldiers, each with specialized skills. They all play together as a team, trading equipment, and covering each other. They use whatever weapons they can get to kill Xenos and slow the invasion. The better the weapon, the higher the body count, but the more Xenos will appear, attracted by the onslaught! Survivors must also be mindful of their location as conventional weapons work fine indoors, but the planet’s oxygen-starved surface, they’ll need to arm themselves with more specialized weaponry. Lasers, anyone?
Most of the time, Xenos are predictable, but there are a lot of them and they use nasty tactics not encountered in previous Zombicide games. Only through cooperation can players achieve the Mission objectives and win.
Zombicide: Invader Limited Edition Bundle Also Includes:
Civilian Extras, Soldier Extras, Dark Side Extras, Orphans Survivors, Kabuki Survivors, Plague Survivors and Promo Xenos Pack!
But wait, there’s more! Also Included in the Limited Edition Bundle:
Zombicide Invader: Dark Side
This is an entirely new standalone core box, including all the content you would expect in a Zombicide base game: Survivors, Machines, Xenos, Tiles, Missions, Equipment, Tokens, etc. While Dark Side is an independent entry point into the Zombicide sci-fi universe, it is also fully compatible with Zombicide: Invader, which means it also acts as an expansion for it, bringing a lot more content to your game.
In Dark Side, players take on the role of the soldiers of Green Squade and delve into the underground mining facilities of PK-L7. There they will face a new breed of Xenos: Drillers! these red devils benefit from the pits that the Driller Abomination digs up, using them for extra protection, and to make surprise attacks on the Survivors. Players will also have to contend with the crushing darkness of the tunnels, which severely hamper ranged combat. With new equipment at their disposal, and new tactics to be learned, Green Squad might just stand a chance to make its way out of the dark!
Zombicide Invader: Black OPS
The Zombicide: Black Ops expansion raises the intensity to new heights while bringing new challenges for an elite group of Survivors! The Soldiers of Black Squad can be added to your roster, allowing you to play the game with up to 12 players at the same time!
These battle-hardened soldiers have been called in to deal with the situation on PK-L7, and find a base already being consumed by the Mold. The 10 new Missions utilize 3 new tiles containing zones already filled with Mold. That means extra Xeno spawning, and a more imminent threat of the base being lost for good. These Mold zones also feature glowing pods of an altered form of Xenium, which may be fired at causing a Hellfire explosion! As dangerous as that sounds, it may be used for our advantage, if we’re careful.
This dilapidated base is also under threat of a new type of Abomination we call the Juggernaut. This thing is as ugly as it is unstoppable. Upgrading your weapon won’t work, concentrating your fire won’t work. I guess we’ll just need to lure it into one of those sensitive Pod zones.
Black Squad brings some of its own elite equipment to the mission, including the hard-hitting XN35 “Crawley” Bot, the devastating Meteor Sentry Gun (a rail gun that can hit multiple zones), and an arsenal of powerful Starting Equipment and other gear.
