Comic Hunters (Available Now!)

After a long search in several comic bookstores and online stores, you managed to acquire the most important comic books of all your favorite heroes. Well, almost all of them! Some rare and important editions are still missing from your collection. The first appearance of your favorite villain, that special edition that influenced a generation of story lines, the spetacular debut of the new uniform, the memorable confrontation with the archenemy and the valuable number one! You already know where to find them and you also know that you are not the only one in search of these precious gems. Will you be able to collect all the comics needed to be recognized as the greatest collector of all time?

Comic Hunters is divided into three rounds. In each round, players will visit three of the four locations where they can purchase Comic Book Cards. At the end of the round, players must place cards on the table to start or expand their collections. When adding a comic to a hero’s collection, the player will move his markers on the icon tracks according to the Spotlight Icons of the new card in play (Number 1, First Appearance, New Visual, Special Edition and Memorable Clashes.). The further the player advances on each track, the more points he or she may get. In addition, each collection scores based on the number of cards it contains. After three rounds the player with most points is acclaimed as the greatest comic book collector of all time and wins the game!

The sequel to the original BattleTech: Legends, BattleTech: Legends II is a full-color art book featuring famous and notable warriors and their warmachines from the BattleTech universe.

Legends Never Die!

The Vale of Eternity: Artifacts (Available Now!)

The Vale of Eternity: Artifacts, an expansion for The Vale of Eternity, adds 28 creature cards with new effects to the deck, as well as artifacts that players draft during the hunting phase at the start of each round.

In more detail, at the start of a round reveal twice as many creatures as players in the usual way, then starting with the first player, each player drafts an artifact without their marker on it by placing their marker on that artifact. (In effect, you can’t draft the same artifact you had the previous round.) Some artifacts have instant effects you use immediately, others give you a permanent effect that entire round, and others grant you an action that you can use once on a turn. After drafting artifacts, players draft creature cards in the usual way.

When using artifacts, the victory threshold for the game is now 80 points instead of 60, although the game still ends after ten rounds regardless of the score.

Side Quest: The Isle of Cats (Available Now!)

The last thing you can remember, you were on a tropical island, desperately trying to corral all of those adorable, mischievous, and frankly difficult cats.

Now you wake to find yourself locked in a cage in the hold of a ship, almost certainly from Vesh’s fleet. You can’t see much down here in the dark, but from the sound of things, they captured the cats, too.

Side Quest: The Isle of Cats is a puzzle game set in the world of well-known board game The Isle of Cats. The game tests your creativity, perceptiveness, and ability to think outside the box. Solve the puzzles and escape the ship to save not just your own life, but the lives of these adorable creatures. They don’t want to cooperate in the beginning, but you’re sure you will gain their trust and together you will escape this horrible trap and find your way back home.

The Isle of Cats: Duel (Available Now!)

The Isle of Cats Duel is a competitive, standalone game designed specifically for two players, set in the beloved world of The Isle of Cats.

Go head-to-head in this cat-placement board game and prove, once and for all, that you are the best cat rescuer.

In the game, you are citizens of Squalls End on a rescue mission to the Isle of Cats and must save as many cats as possible before the evil Lord Vesh arrives. Each cat is represented by a unique tile and belongs to a family, you must find a way to make them all fit on your boat while keeping families together.

The Isle of Cats Duel replaces the card drafting from the original game with a new movement system. Guided by an Oshax cat, players take turns moving around the island. Where you move will determine which cats, treasures, and lessons you can access and will shape the options available to your opponent on their next turn.

In the end, the player who best balances rescuing cats, completing lessons, and limiting their opponent’s options will prove themselves as the ultimate cat rescuer.
