Inferno (Available Now!)

Inferno is a worker placement/ soul management game where each player must guide sinners to their respective circles in Hell. The central board consists of two parts: one displaying all 9 circles and the soul registry, while the other represents Florence in the early 14th century, where Dante lived, with its power games and palace intrigues.

Each turn consists of two phases:

Inferno Phase: The player advances a soul through Hell, earning Infamy Points if they successfully guide it to its corresponding circle.

Florence Phase: The player must choose between:

Playing an action at a city location (adopting a street urchin, building a new level of the family tower, or inviting home an illustrious character, among others).

Exposing a sinner, who is executed, and their soul is led to Hell. By doing so, the player advances on the Hell registry, which keeps track of everyone’s supplied souls.

With each death, Dante takes a step closer to his descent. When he reaches the gate that will lead him to Purgatory, the game ends.

The player with the most Infamy Points is declared the winner and deemed untrustworthy.

In the second phase it is time to test how good your crew and ship really is by sailing the seas and take on different adventures. Each action costs you a provision and depending on where you sail and what you do, you need weapons, canons, and ammunition. But beware, each weapon and canon must be manned by a pirate, so keep your balance. Pirate pets allow you to use special powers that can turn the tide of battle. At last, you must return to your home base, but not without telling tales of your adventures and earning points. The better the tale, the more points await.

On land, on sea, in clouds, and even in space, battles are breaking out between toys. Your troops need your tactical talent to lead them to victory. Your mission? Be the first to reach the enemy headquarters or control more territories than your opponent.

On your turn in Toy Battle, you either draw two toy troops or place a troop on the board and apply its effect. When a place a troop, you can place it on an empty base, a base that you control, a base that the enemy controls with a lower-valued troop than the one you’re placing, or the enemy’s headquarters; however, in all cases you must place on a location that has a continuous path to your own headquarters through bases that you occupy, that is, that have your troop on top. If you occupy bases that form a continuous path around a region, you claim the medals within this region. (You don’t lose these medals if the enemy later occupies one of these bases.)

The game ends as soon as you occupy your opponent’s headquarters or win the required number of medals based on the current game board. If a player cannot draw or place a troop, the game ends, and whoever has the most medals wins.

Come Sail Away! is a board game for 1-4 players in which you compete to board passengers upon your luxury liner, bringing them to their favorite cabins and facilities. Players can enjoy a deliciously thoughtful and brightly illustrated game that is simple to learn, yet always challenging.

The aim of Come Sail Away is to guide passengers into your cruise ship as smoothly as possible, earning points in the process. In addition to earning points for filling each room on the ship, you can earn bonus points for filling certain rooms faster than other players. Further, by guiding passengers with luggage to their cabins, players can advance on the luggage track, allowing you to place additional small cabins, gain additional passengers, and earn bonus points. Garden Rush is a two-player, tile-placement battle game in a vegetable garden in which players race to grow vegetables in their garden and fill their basket before their neighbor. Careful planning is needed to plant each vegetable in its unique pattern for future harvesting, while keeping an eye on the conveyor belt shared between the gardens.

Players place one tile per turn to build their garden, following the harvesting patterns for each vegetable. Extra abilities, including Take That options, can be gained by using special tiles on the board or on the scoring track. What you love most in life is bringing the joys of the sea to people around the world. You own a small tinning company on the coast of Spain where you make simply the best conservas for everyone to enjoy. You are responsible for the whole process, from managing the boats that go out in the morning, to catching the fish and finally selling your tinned goods. You have special goals each month, but it isn’t always about making the most money. Having a sustainable impact on the sea is very important: if you harm the ocean by overfishing, then you will fail in your mission. Maintaining a balanced relationship with the sea is vital as you work hard and continue to make the best conservas in the world!

In each game of Conservas, you begin each season with a single boat and a little money. The sea is represented by a bag of chits full of fish and water tiles. In each round you will fish from this bag, taking some back to your facility for tinning while leaving others at sea to breed.

In order to win, you must maintain a delicate balance between fishing and allowing populations to grow. Each month will have a unique set of objectives, and your sustainability goals are as important as your financial targets. Each market is also unique with specific rules and strategies for making a profit. Classified Information is a fast-playing (10-minutes or less), 2-player “iterative” deduction microgame that is fully contained within just 18 cards. Each turn a player plays a card from their hand in one of three ways (for its ability, for its guild affiliation or by discarding it out of the game). Once the draw deck is depleted players reveal their secret code and the single card left in their hand, if their card matches a number in their opponent’s code they may win the game, but things may not be so easy if their opponent also matches and has more guards, or has cleverly guarded their briefcase!
